The Bracelet Club is for people to come and create bracelets and other fun things like kandi lizard keychains, or use your imagination, as long as it is appropriate.The  Bracelet Club is a cool  way to get to know each other and learn new things.

Description:
Choir  Council is comprised of elected members from all choirs with leadership positions filled by members of the Cantabile Honors Chorale. Choir Council supports the choir program through fundraisers, social activities, performance opportunities, and festivals.

Description:

The Dungeons & Dragons Club provides students with a fun, creative, and collaborative environment where they can explore imaginative worlds through cooperative storytelling and role-playing. Students will work together to create characters, solve problems, develop stories, and navigate exciting adventures. They will build communication skills, develop critical-thinking and decision-making skills and learn to work together as a team. The club is open to middle students of all experience levels, including those who are new to Dungeons & Dragons.

This group focuses on a love of books, movies, and TV shows. This includes, but is not limited to, Wings of Fire, Percy Jackson, Warrior Cats, and more! Theories will be discussed, fan art will be drawn, and fan stories created! This is the place to bring out your nerdiness

Description:
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the Educational Theatre Association’s honorary organization for students.  Our Thespian Troupe encourages involvement in all aspects of theatre arts and theatrical expression. Membership is earned by participating in the theatre program at Horizon Honors (no just acting) and accumulating points for admission.  Thespians receive a wide range of benefits and opportunities throughout their high school careers and become Thespian alumni after graduation. Letters of Love is a student-led club focusing on spreading kindness and positivity  throughout campus. Through uplifting messages, handwritten notes, posters, and small acts of kindness, members work together to create a more supportive and welcoming school environment. we believe that even the smallest gesture can make a big difference. All students (7th-12th grade) are welcome to join us in making our campus a kinder place one message at a time.

Description:
This organization promotes the recognition of students who demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and service. Its purpose is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship among middle school students. Students are invited to apply for membership second semester based on GPA.  Must Pay Club Dues

Description:
The Pickleball Club will provide students with an education in Pickleball rules and strategies in addition to giving students the chance to compete against one another.  Students will provide their own transportation to and from Pecos park.

The Pre-Med is focused on students who are interested in attending medical school or have an interest in pursuing a career in the medical field. The club will introduce you to tips, skills, and opportunities that will help with your career pursuit.

Description:The Horizon Honors Science Fair Club competes in middle and high school science fair competitions. The main purpose of our meetings is to discuss and develop idea projects. We host a school fair in early March then we send top projects to AZSEF (Arizona Science and Engineering Fair). This club also opens doors to other state and national science competitions. We host various guest speakers and organize special science related events and activities during the school year.

Middle School Student Council is a group of elected student leaders that help build community in middle school. Applications and parent agreements are required (date TBD). Members will help plan middle school spirit days, parties, and assist with various community events.

Description:

The Horizon Honors 7th & 8th Grade Swim Club provides students with an opportunity to develop their swimming skills, build endurance, and participate in a supportive team environment. Swimmers will practice proper technique, learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, and work toward personal improvement. The club welcomes students of varying skill levels and encourages all members to challenge themselves, support their teammates, and represent Horizon Honors with pride.

Description:The middle school travel club meets starting in the third quarter to plan and organize the middle school spring break trip. We discuss annual trip specifics but we also discuss overall what being a good traveler entails. We learn about the places we travel through games and activities conducted during club meetings. Club membership is required for middle school students who plan to go on the spring break trip.
