Choir  Council is comprised of elected members from all choirs with leadership positions filled by members of the Cantabile Honors Chorale. Choir Council supports the choir program through fundraisers, social activities, performance opportunities, and festivals.

Eagle Strong is a Strength and agility training club to become the best athlete you can be. Lift weights with a certified master of training with over 15 plus years of experience training athletes. Learn correct form and exercises to enhance your sports.

The Eco Eagle Club is focused on raising environmental awareness and increasing community sustainability through club discussions, activities and projects. Members learn about specific environmental issues and take action through activities to find solutions in a collaborative environment. Description:Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a national organization that empowers student athletes to grow, discuss, and share their faith in Jesus Christ. Students are encouraged to study the Bible together, share successes, share strongholds, and serve their school in various ways. FCA is open for attendance to all students and student athletes that are looking to learn about a relationship with God, grow their own personal faith, or share the word of God with others.

Description:
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is the Educational Theatre Association’s honorary organization for students.  Our Thespian Troupe encourages involvement in all aspects of theatre arts and theatrical expression. Membership is earned by participating in the theatre program at Horizon Honors (no just acting) and accumulating points for admission.  Thespians receive a wide range of benefits and opportunities throughout their high school careers and become Thespian alumni after graduation. Description:
Key Club International is a part of the Kiwanis International family of service-leadership programs. It is one of the oldest and largest service programs for high school students. Key Club is a student-led organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through helping others. Our club engages in volunteer projects both on campus, through peer tutoring, and in the community. Horizon Honors Key Club requires each member to complete 50 hours of volunteer service per year. 10 of those hours should come from Key Club sponsored projects and events. Must Pay Club Dues

Letters of Love is a student-led club focusing on spreading kindness and positivity  throughout campus. Through uplifting messages, handwritten notes, posters, and small acts of kindness, members work together to create a more supportive and welcoming school environment. we believe that even the smallest gesture can make a big difference. All students (7th-12th grade) are welcome to join us in making our campus a kinder place one message at a time.

Description:

The Model United Nations club sends its members (delegates) to several Model UN conferences throughout the year.  At these conferences, delegates give speeches and debate on behalf of an assigned country.  Awards can be earned but the main goal of these conferences is to simulate the real United Nations and figure out areas of common ground to the point that resolutions can be passed that offer solutions to the world's biggest challenges.

Description:
The purpose of the NHS is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to recognize outstanding students, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. Membership in National Honor Society is based on the four pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Students who are at least sophomores, have been at Horizon Honors High School for at least a semester, and who have at least a 3.5 unweighted GPA are invited to apply in February of their sophomore year. Membership is decided upon and awarded by a Faculty Council. Students must be inducted to be members of NHS.  Must Pay Dues

More than just a fundraising walk, Relay For Life is a movement.

For 40 years, passionate supporters have come together to advance the American Cancer Society’s vision: ending cancer as we know it, for everyone. Relay For Life celebrates survivors, honors caregivers, remembers loved ones lost, and raises funds to ensure that everyone has the chance to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.

Each event reflects its community’s unique spirit while embracing four signature traditions:

• Celebrating survivors – Honoring those who have faced cancer with courage and resilience.
• Recognizing caregivers – Acknowledging the strength and support of those who stand by their loved ones.
• Lighting the way – Remembering those we’ve lost through the moving luminaria ceremony.
• Taking action – Uniting to build a future free from cancer.

Description:

The Horizon Honors Science Fair Club competes in middle and high school science fair competitions. The main purpose of our meetings is to discuss and develop idea projects. We host a school fair in early March then we send top projects to AZSEF (Arizona Science and Engineering Fair). This club also opens doors to other state and national science competitions. We host various guest speakers and organize special science related events and activities during the school year.

Description:
Officers in the Horizon Honors High School Student Council are strong student leaders. They are representatives of the student body, ones who idealize the success of the school’s goals as well as their own and are prepared to lead the student body in pursuit of those goals. As the elected voice for the student body, they are prepared to represent and work for the ideas of their fellow students. As mature, enthusiastic leaders they serve as role models for their fellow students and for Horizon Honors High School at all times.  The Executive Board is elected in May each year and then the remaining officers when we return to school in August.

Description:
Horizon Honors is excited to offer a variety of educational travel opportunities.  These opportunities not only enhance a student’s education, but create life experiences which build self-confidence.  Travel, whether national or international, awakens the senses—and mind—to different cultures, people, languages, and experiences.  Trips will vary by year and include a variety of opportunities including language immersion, service learning, and hands-on workshops or training.  Through these experiences students enhance their knowledge of history, language, art, architecture, theatre, literature, science, and culture while navigating the cities of the world, making friends, and having life experiences that create unforgettable memories.  Club members participate in pre-travel education and exercises to prepare for the specific trip and record on-trip reflections that recount each day's adventures to the Horizon Honors community via Facebook and Instagram.

Description:
Wilderness Club encourages student use, knowledge, and appreciation of the outdoors through activities which draw students out from their classes and homes.  Outdoor activities and trips reflect student interests. An annual trip is a long weekend excursion to the Catalina Island Marine Institute with a program that centers on marine and terrestrial biology, and includes a variety of outdoor activities, such as snorkeling, rock climbing, hiking.  Other outdoor adventures throughout the school year are based on the interest of the club.
